A common list of winning hands starts with jacks or better, and moves on to two pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and finally royal flushes. It is obvious that the pay out schedule can change from machine to machine, so that skillful bettors are able to select the most money-making ones every instance.
Once the initial round has finished, the player can either choose to remain on and try to to maximize their earnings, or they can press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any cash that they may have won. Additionally, several styles of the game give the bettor an opportunity to increase their wins, in which situation a further hand is played. There are also differences among specific games, with some decks of cards including wild cards and other differing characteristics to increase playability.
